Anatomy of Interruption — Canvas Print
"Anatomy of Interruption" This work dissects the body not to explain it but to expose how even our most intimate systems can be fragmented by external forces. Borrowing the visual language of medical diagrams, the composition initially suggests clarity, function, and order: veins mapped, organs labeled, pathways defined. Yet this illusion of coherence is abruptly broken.
Sections are missing. Words dissolve into partial fragments. The body becomes unreadable.
What should be a seamless system of flow digestion, circulation, transformation is interrupted, as if knowledge itself has been corrupted mid-transmission. The clinical authority of the diagram collapses under distortion, revealing that even “truth” can be edited, obscured, or reassembled into something unstable.
Layered within the anatomical imagery are traces of narrative phrases that hint at destiny, disruption, and control. These fragments do not clarify the body; they compete with it, suggesting that identity is not purely biological but continuously rewritten by language, experience, and perception.
“Anatomy of Interruption” positions the viewer at the threshold between understanding and disorientation. It asks: what happens when the systems we trust to define us our bodies, our knowledge, our internal maps become fractured? Where does meaning reside when structure fails?
In this space of rupture, the work reveals a deeper truth: that the body is not a fixed diagram, but a living, contested territory one that absorbs, resists, and ultimately redefines the forces that attempt to shape it.
